RME offers HDSP systems in two versions:External solutions, like Multiface and Digiface, and internalsolutions. HDSPe MADI

128-Channel 192 kHz MADI DSP PCI Express card

HDSPe MADI is a powerful PCI Express card with MADI interface.The card is based on the award-winning Hammerfall DSP technology, andrepresents the top model of this world-wide successful card line. Thecard offers 2 x 64 channels of 24-bit audio at a sample rate of up to48 kHz and 32 channels at up to 192 kHz. HDSPe MADI is compatible toall common MADI formats. The integrated analog output offers monitoringof single signals or complete mixdowns.

32-Channel 24-Bit/192 kHz AES/EBU DSP PCI Express card

The HDSPe AES is a powerful PCI card with AES/EBU interfaces.It provides eight AES inputs (16 channels) and eight AES outputs (16channels) at 192 kHz sample rate. The card is also equipped with twoMIDI I/O ports, word clock I/O, and can be used with the optional TCOmodule for synchronization to LTC and video. The perfect all-in-onesolution for professional users in the fields of broadcast, TV,theater, stage/PA - and in any professional studio.

HDSPe RayDAT

72-Channel 24-Bit/192 kHz ADAT/AES PCI Express Card

HDSPe RayDAT is a multi-channel, multi-format and multi-tasktool in stunning professional quality, the ideal solution fromrecording up to the final mastering. For the first time, even SPDIF(phono) and AES/EBU (XLR) are simultaneously operational due toseparated hardware and record/playback devices. RayDAT offers no lessthan 4 x ADAT optical I/O, SPDIF I/O and AES/EBU I/O. That's a whopping36 channels of inputs and outputs. On top, there are 2 MIDI I/Os andTotalMix, RME's unsurpassed DSP-based real-time mixer/router, withhardware-calculated level metering and complete MIDI remote capability.HDSPe RayDAT also supports the optional TCO for synchronization totimecode (LTC/video).

HDSP TCO

Optional Time Code Module

The optionale extension for chosen HDSP PCI- and PCI Expresscards. The little module provides the mother card with a Word Clockinput and offers synchronization to LTC, Video and VITC. With the helpof SteadyClock the module extracts not only absolute positioning data,but also a very low-jitter Word Clock. The TCO guarantees the perfectconnection and a sample accurate timecode synchronization to audio andvideo signals.

The HDSPe System includes fully developed and powerful driversfor Windows 2000/XP/VISTA (ASIO multi-client operation with ASIO 2.0,GSIF 2.0 and MME) and Mac OS X (Core Audio, Core MIDI). The hardwareconcept includes the possibility for hardware updates via software.Improvements and extensions of the hardware are thus possible withoutany problem, safety for the future included. Besides, the whole systemsupports hot-plugging. Card and I/O box can be connected ordisconnected at any time without having to re-boot the computer.

The HDSPe System offers all its features both when usedstationary or mobile: support for 24-Bit/96kHz, S/PDIF and ADAToptical, integrated mixer in TotalMix technology for complete ASIO 2.0Direct Monitoring, independently to operate mixer desktop providingseveral submixes, DIGICheck in hardware for professional level meteringwith peak- and RMS values in broadcast quality, MIDI I/O and much more.




HDSPe MADIface

128-Channel 24-Bit/192 kHz MADI PCI ExpressCard for notebookcomputers

Consisting of the HDSPe ExpressCard MADI and a small breakoutbox, the MADIface offers full MADI power: 64 channels input and 64channels output, up to 192 kHz sample rate, in MADI embedded MIDItransmission, complete TotalMix that is even remote controllable andhas all features of the 'bigger' HDSPe MADI, as well as lowest latencyand CPU-load. To make the usage as comfortable as possible, the powerfor the breakout box is provided directly by the ExpressCard, so noexternal power supply is required.

Multiface II

36-Channel 24-Bit/96kHz I/O Box

The Multiface II is not only multi because of the manydifferent interface formats supported, but also multi-Channel! Thesmall box using half the space of a 19" rack includes outstanding powerand extensive features. Based on RME's award-winning Hammerfalltechnology and equipped with the latest circuit designs of the Fireface800, the Multiface II offers ADAT optical I/O, SPDIF I/O, MIDI I/O,word clock I/O and a separate hi-power monitor output. On top weprovide 8 analog inputs and outputs, balanced and 24-Bit/96kHz, ofcourse. All this can be used on laptops as well as on desktop computerswith 'zero cpu load' and low latency!

RME presents the Digiface, a highly extended version of thewell-known PCI card Project Hammerfall (DIGI9652). Digiface offers 3ADAT optical I/Os, ADAT-Sync In, SPDIF I/O and word clock I/O like itspredecessor. On top, there are 2 MIDI I/Os and a separate analog lineout. Thanks to its unique 'Zero CPU Load' technology Hammerfall DSPguarantees highest performance and lowest latency on both notebooks anddesktops!

Digiface

HDSP RPM

Mobile Turntable / CD / MIC / MIDI Interface

The RPM allows for the connection of 2 turntables or 2line-sources (CD, DVD, sampler etc.) and a microphone to a desktop orlaptop computer. A total of 5 independent inputs are routed to 2 stereooutputs plus a separate headphone output, which lets you monitor any ofthe in- and outputs at any time via TotalMix, RME's unique DSP basedmixer. External devices can be connected via MIDI I/O to communicatewith any adequate audio software.
