Screen Service 1 kW ps TRANSMITTERS and TRANSPOSERS

Screen Service’s 1 kW transmitters and transposers are the result of continuous technical research and careful selection of materials. The units in this series consist of one or two power amplifiers coupled together by means of a special patented system that allows low losses and excellent linearity over the entire band, as well as guaranteeing the continuity of duty even in cases of faults in the amplification chain. Each individual unit is internally redundant both in its power supply circuits and in its amplification and cooling circuits. A version with double exciters and automatic switch-over is available as well.The control and protection circuits allow the display of all operating parameters of the unit: direct peak output and total reflected power, also of each individual stage, power supply voltage and absorbed current of each amplifier module, temperature of internal heatsinks, visualization of alarms, threshold level of the protection circuits, and restore attempts among others.In the case of use of the amplifiers for the transmission of digital television signals, the resulting power reduction is extremely limited thanks to the high degree of linearity and to the optimization of the RF circuits.A series of rear-mounted connectors permit remote monitoring of the unit’s operating conditions.
