The VP-128H is a true 12x8 matrix switcher for VGA / XGA computer graphics signals that lets you simultaneously route any or all of the 12 inputs to any or all of the 8 outputs. The high performance VP-128H is rugged, easy to service, and fits into one vertical space (1U) of a standard 19" rack. In particular, the VP-128H has a very reliable modular design (without any internal adjustments), with a detachable front panel that is fastened into the frame with two front panel hand operated slide action latches. The detached front panel can be used as a local control panel, by attaching it to the main electronics module within the VP-128H using a 9-wire ribbon flat cable. The VP-128H has a video bandwidth of 315MHz, DC coupled inputs and outputs, an RGB delayed switching mode (with a user selectable delay increment of 500ms for each output ranging from 0 to 3.5 seconds) for any output through black for clean transitions when switching between non genlocked sources, as well as a linear circuit path for the H and V channels, to cope with any non standard H and V sync levels. The VP-128H includes storing and recalling setup options with the ability to store 10 setups in the control system in Flash. In addition, the VP-128H has a passive two BNC sync loop - useful to ensure deterministic switching, and can be controlled via the front panel buttons, or remotely by 10 Base T Ethernet, or RS-232 serial commands transmitted by a touch screen system, PC, or other serial controller.
