Doremi V1m

The V1m has the lowest cost of the V1 family. It consists of a 2u rack mount unit that can house two drive bays. It has no front panel controls. You can control the V1m via ethernet or RS-422 with Doremi's free VToolsPro software or the RCV2 remote control.

The V1m supports compression ratios of 2:1 to 34:1. It features one audio expansion port. All other features and specifications are similar to the standard V1.

V1 DCT Series Common Features:

The V1 is a high-quality Video Disk Recorder/Player designedto record and playback video and audio using hard drives. Due to itsfamiliar controls and operation, the V1 can function as an instantreplacement for a video tape recorder of any format, or as anadditional recorder/player. It is field accurate and can be controlledfrom an industry standard RS-422 serial interface using the familiar“Sony 9 pin protocol.” At the same time, the V1 has the advantage oflocating immediately to any position on the disk, providing instantaccess to the video data.

The video data is compressed using DCT compression andrecorded along with the audio and the time code address onto the harddisk drive.
